Air Conditioning/Heating
Each guest chamber is individually controlled, consistently on either air conditioning or heat; the innkeepers will advise which system is activated during your stay. You control the temperature   via the up or down arrow on the keypad located in your chamber. For your comfort, TRANE CleanEffects™ for 99.98% allergen free air has been added to the system. This breakthrough, patented technology as verified by the Harvard School of Public Health filters the air 100 times more than a standard filter.

Animals
We are rich in a large variety of birds, including humming birds and cardinals, butterflies, fireflies,  bunnies and squirrels. Once in a great while we will see a deer crossing the property.  However, as much as we love pets, it is not possible for us to host them at Bloomsbury.

Breakfast
Breakfast is freshly prepared for each guest. You will be asked what hour you prefer for your seating. Breakfast is normally served between 8:00-9:00 am; but, times can be adjusted to meet your schedule. Breakfast can be provided for outside guests with proper notification to the innkeepers for a nominal charge.

Candles
Due to the historic construction of Bloomsbury, candles are strictly prohibited in the guest chambers. The safety of our guests is paramount.

Food/Ice
Each bed chamber has been custom decorated so we respectfully request that outside food not be brought into/consumed in the bed chambers. The innkeepers will be pleased to provide a proper table setting for the consumption of outside food. Ice is available upon request for each bed chamber.

Although there are many original features of Bloomsbury, none of the furnishings are original to the home. Rich with history and antiques, the owners welcome the opportunity to provide an historical walking tour of the home and property.

If an emergency exit is required, please exit the front door or as directed by the innkeepers. The Bloomsbury gathering point is out the front center gate and across the street. The outside lighting offers additional security: eight lights mark the entrances and verandah; six under verandah lights; ten of the fourteen columns have up lighting; twelve landscaping light features are in the east and south lawns; and, these are in addition to the city street
